Ramon Tabiana Memorial District Hospital is beyond grateful along with the other 9 district hospitals in the province of Iloilo to receive a new service van from the Iloilo Provincial Government.

Right after the regular flag ceremony this morning, the vehicle was blessed and officially turned over to Dr. Francisco Ronnel J. Quinon Chief of Hospital II and Ms. Edevae A. Amigable Admin. Officer V

This new van is a meaningful addition to our hospitalโ€™s resources and will strengthen our transport services, ensure faster logistics and supply movement, and enhance our overall capability to respond quickly and efficiently to the needs of our community. With this support, we are confident that it will contribute greatly to the continuous progress and success of Tabiana.

Dr. Francisco Ronnel J. Quiรฑon Chief of Hospital II of Ramon Tabiana Memorial District Hospital has been elected as the new president of the Sub-Provincial Technical Management Committee.

The Southern Iloilo Sub-Provincial Health System convened to update and strengthen the Iloilo Province-wide Health Care
Provider Network Referral Manual, ensuring a more responsive
and coordinated patient referral process across the province.

Dr. Francisco Ronnel J. Quiรฑon, was among the appointed committee members, representing the institution and contributing valuable expertise to the development of the system.

November 6, 2025 - Ramon Tabiana Memorial District Hospital (RTMDH) joins the Project Buligay held at the Brgy. Balabag Covered Gym, Pavia, Iloilo โ€” a meaningful Medical and Dental Mission spearheaded by the Iloilo Provincial Police Office and Provincial Government of Iloilo in partnership with the Local Government Unit of Pavia.

Among the six provincial hospitals invited, RTMDH took part in this initiative that aims to deliver free and accessible healthcare services to the community, especially to those who have limited access to medical and dental care.

Labis, proudly represent the Iloilo Provincial Government (IPG) in the Regional Collaboration Meeting: Advancing Health Equity and Enhancing Synergies โ€“ Integrating Cervical Cancer and HIV/AIDS Initiatives, organized by the Cancer Warriors Foundation, Expertise France, and Unitaid, held in Thailand from October 21โ€“28, 2025.

This significant international gathering brings together health leaders and experts from various countries to strengthen strategies for integrating cervical cancer and HIV programsโ€”promoting collaboration, innovation, and equitable access to healthcare services across regions.

The participation of the IPG delegation highlights the Province of Iloiloโ€™s steadfast commitment to healthcare excellence and leadership, and also reflects proactive role in advancing public health standards and contributing to meaningful global dialogues on cancer prevention and HIV program integration.

Every drop counts โ€” and every donor saves a life! โค๏ธ

Ramon Tabiana Memorial District Hospital (RTMDH) conducted a Mobile Blood Donation Drive last October 24, 2025, held at the RTMDH Chapel, in partnership with Radio Mindanao Network (RMN).

Out of 94 donors, the event resulted in the collection of 85 blood units.

The said activity aimed to strengthen the hospitalโ€™s blood supply to meet the increasing demand for safe and adequate blood in emergency and medical cases. With the participation of hospital employees, donors, and volunteers , the drive became a meaningful demonstration of compassion and unity within the community.

Ramon Tabiana Memorial District Hospital (RTMDH) marks a significant milestone as it reaches 100% completion of 16 hours Basic Life Support (BLS) Training for all its employees last October 24, 2025 at RTMDH Conference room โ€” ensuring that every staff member, from medical professionals to administrative personnel, is equipped with essential life-saving skills.

The series of BLS trainings, conducted in collaboration with the Hospital Management Office (HMO) Trainors, aimed to strengthen the hospitalโ€™s emergency response readiness and enhance patient safety.

Through hands-on practice and simulation-based learning, RTMDH personnel gained the confidence and competence to respond effectively during medical emergencies.

RTMDH extends its heartfelt appreciation to the dedicated Department of Health (DOH) Basic Life Support instructors โ€” Mr. John Noel M. But, Krisha Eloisa P. Gumban, RN Jose Gerald A. Sadiang-Abay, EMT, Litzel Lorenz O. Ferrariz, RN, Kent Angelo A. Camacho, RN, Eloisa Anne C. Mendoza, RN, and Mr. Ian Vincent G. Libo-on โ€” for their expertise, patience, and commitment in guiding the participants throughout the training.
