⚠️ WARNING: CYBER LIBEL IS A CRIME
To everyone posting on social media, please be advised:
Under RA 10175 (Cybercrime Prevention Act), public posts that shame, insult, or accuse a person—whether true or not—can be charged as cyber libel.
Penalty: 6 to 8 years imprisonment + fines.
Even sharing or reposting a defamatory post can be included in a complaint.
You may express your concerns, but do it with respect, without naming or attacking individuals, and through proper reporting channels.
Think before you click. Social media is public and permanent.
Please remember:
Posting unverified accusations
Using insulting or defamatory language
Public shaming
Tagging, sharing, or spreading such posts
may place anyone at legal risk.
We encourage everyone to raise concerns through proper channels and maintain respect and fairness online. Let us use our freedom of expression responsibly for the good of our community.
