3 DAYS OLD NA BABY, Ayaw resitahan ng paracetamol para mawala ang lagnat? 😮

Share ko lang po testimony ni baby Attara.

3 days after na pinanganak siya, napansin ng mama niya na parang hirap siya sa paghinga at parang may lagnat din.
Dinala siya sa pedia. Sabi ng pedia, ipa xray at cbc siya at lumabas sa result na may infection sa dugo kaya nilalagnat siya.

Ang payo ng pedia ipaconfine para sa dextrose padaanin mga gamot. Naaawa ako sa apo ko kasi napakabata pa nya para idextrose.

Ayaw naman resetahan ng pedia kahit paracetamol para mawala ang lagnat nya.

Iniuwi namin si baby at may nkapagsabi sa amin na i try namin patakan ng FERN-D si baby tuwing umaga. Kahit hapon, pinatakan parin namin siya ng FERN-D .

After 30 mins yung 38.8 na lagnat niya bumaba sa 37.3 at naging 36.5.
Pati ung paghinga nya parang nagiging ok na .
Kaya sabi ko sa anak ko ituloy mo lang pagpatak sa kanya araw araw.

Ngayon pang 3 days na siya nagpapatak ng FERN-D. At sa awa ng Diyos ung temperature nya dina umaabot sa 37.

BRAIN ANEURYSM 🧠

Brain aneurysms can occur in anyone and at any age. They are most common in adults between the ages of 30 and 60 and are more common in women than in men. People with certain inherited disorders are also at higher risk.

What is an aneurysm?

It is a ballooning of a blood vessel, oftentimes an artery. It may be because of inherent (congenital) weakness of the wall or may be acquired from prolonged uncontrolled hypertension and deposition of plaques (atherosclerosis). Rarely, infection and trauma to the blood vessel may also cause aneurysm.

90%of aneurysms in the brain are called berry aneurysm. 85% are located at the base of the brain near where it meets the spinal cord.

(Aneurysms may also occur in the thoracic and abdominal aorta. Rupture of this can be catastrophic.)

You may have an aneurysm and not know it.

The aneurysm may rupture causing passage of blood into the space surrounding the brain and the brain itself. This is called a hemorrhagic stroke. (which differs from an ischemic stroke where the blood vessel is blocked)

It is important to maintain normal blood pressure to decrease the chance of rupture (whether you know you have it, or in case you do not know, normal blood pressure is good for everyone, anyway). Blood cholesterol level must be kept at normal to avoid atherosclerosis, a risk factor.

Short background: A brain aneurysm, also known as a subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH), is a weak spot in the wall of a blood vessel inside the brain. ( Ito ay ang pagnipis ng blood vessel at paglobo nito. Nabubuo ito dulot ng stress sa blood vessels ). Some of the symptoms of this are:

1. Intense headache that comes on suddenly
2. Loss of consciousness
3. Nausea and vomiting
4. Drowsiness
5. Loss of balance in things like walking and normal coordination
6. Stiff neck
7. Dilated pupils
8. Sensitivity to light
9. Sudden blurred or double vision
10. Drooping eyelid
11. Confusion or trouble with mental awareness
12. Seizure

WHAT WE CAN DO TO PREVENT BRAIN ANEURYSM?

We can't always prevent brain aneurysms since one of causes of this is heredity, but we can lower the high risk by doing the following.

1. Avoid smoking
2. Avoid too much stress or strong emotion
3. Reduce high blood pressure (this is very important among the three)
4. Consume adequate amounts of Vit C, Vit E, Vit. B6, B12 and folate)
