The office of SP Member Pal Guanzon presented the donation of 20 chairs and 2 printers last November 24, 2025 ( Monday )at Cadiz District Hospital. The donation was received by Dr. Marie Grace Escaniel- Chief of Clinics and Mr. Roy Andrada ( Administrative Officer ).

Cadiz District Hospital was invited by Brgy. Magsaysay headed by their Brgy. Captain Heide Zaldivia during their BCPC quarterly meeting. The activity on Teenage Pregnancy, Reproductive Health and Integrated Childhood Management aimed to educate adolescents about the importance of responsible decision - making, proper knowledge of reproductive health or unintended pregnancy. The session also emphasized the social, emotional, health consequences and the available health services provided by the hospital in the community.

Cadiz District Hospital continues to bridge knowledge gaps and empower the youth to make informed choices. Brgy. Magsaysay as our adopted barangay actively participates in promoting not only individual but also the overall progress of the community.

This year's theme reminds us that safe healthcare is everyone's responsibility --- health workers, patients and communities. By working together with trust, communication, and innovation, we can prevent harm and put patient well - being at the heart of every decision. Our hospital joins the global call for safer healthcare through a meaningful program featuring a lecture on Newborn screening Test, Newborn Hearing Test and Immunization followed by a solemn candle lighting ceremony and a pledge of commitment from our healthcare team.
