The 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗮𝗰𝘆 is 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻! To all students who wish to lead and serve the student body, this is your chance to make a difference and be the voice of your peers! 🗣️

The Electoral Commission presents the following guidelines for filing Certificates of Candidacy. Applications will be accepted starting today from January 12 to 16, 2026. 🗂️

📌 Last October 8, 2025, the 𝓜𝓲𝓽𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓭𝓮 𝓐𝓿𝓪𝓷𝓬𝓮 for 𝙎𝙚𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙎𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙎𝙚𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙀𝙡𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 arranged by the Electoral Commission took place at the XUSHS Covered Courts and was attended by the XUSHS community. 🏫

The 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 extends their utmost gratitude to the esteemed panelists; Ms. Alaiza Amper, Mr. Paulo Fabrigar, and Mrs. Maria Sanchez for their constructive feedback, insightful remarks, and careful deliberations with the candidates. 📝

The Commission also gives their genuine appreciation to 𝗗𝗘𝗠, 𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗔, 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗗𝗖𝗠 and 𝗔𝗥𝗖𝗬 for their assistance all throughout the event that significantly contributed to the success of the event. ✨

On September 10, 2025, the Political Orientation of the Candidates for Special and Senate Elections for A.Y. 2025 - 2026 was held during the afternoon. The running Candidates of each party were given an orientation about the contents of the 2024 Omnibus Election Code, political literacy, and the roles and responsibilities for the positions that they are running for the upcoming elections. 📢

The Electoral Commission also thanks the candidates who have attended the orientation.
