Nenita F. Rabe, RND

A 39-year veteran of the City Health Office, this retired City Nutrition Action Officer is the only CdeO leader ever named Outstanding National City Nutrition Action Officer. A Food and Nutrition graduate, Rabe was the driving force behind the city receiving the National Nutrition Honorary Award—the highest distinction for local health programs. Under her watch, CdeO achieved its lowest-ever child malnutrition rates.

During the pandemic, she stayed at the nutrition headquarters, managing meal prep for frontline workers and coordinating food donations. By strengthening international networks, she built a legacy of food security and maternal-child health for the city.

Mga Higala sa Nutrisyon! 👋

“𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐩 𝐧𝐚 𝐬𝐚 𝐠𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐲 𝐚𝐭 𝐩𝐫𝐮𝐭𝐚𝐬, 𝐧𝐚𝐠 𝐭-𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐤𝐨 𝐧𝐠 𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐝𝐚𝐲!” 😉

Higala sa Nutrisyon, tsismis ito! ❌ Supplements can help fill small nutrient gaps, pero hindi nila kayang palitan ang nutrients, fiber, at antioxidants na makukuha mo sa real, balanced meals.

Totoo: Real food will always be the main source of good health—supplements are just support, not a substitute. 🍎🥦🍚
