‘COLOSTOMY FREEDOM PROJECT’ ALANG
SA MGA KABATAAN IPAHIGAYON SA JRBGH

NAPILING usa sa mga project sites ang Cagayan de Oro alang sa Pediatric Surgical Mission alang sa ‘Colostomy Freedom Project’ diin makapahimulos niini ang mga kabataan nga nag-antus sa ‘colostomy problem’ sukad sa pagkahimugso ug walay ikabayad alang sa operasyon.

Ang maong surgical mission ipahigayon karong Disyembre 9-12, 2023 diha sa JR Borja General Hospital (JRBGH) pinaagi sa paningkamot sa administrasyon ni Mayor Rolando “Klarex” A. Uy ug Dr. Ferdinand Miranda, ang chief of hospital sa JRBGH.

Ang proyekto gipasiugdahan usab sa World Surgical Foundation – Philippines (WSF-P), kauban ang Philippine College of Surgeons Surgery for the Underserved Regions and for Education (PCS-SURE), WSF (US), Philippine Society of Pediatric Surgeons (PPS), Philippine Pediatric Society ug Philippine Society of Anaesthesiologists (PSA).

Nasayran nga una nang milagda og Memorandum of Understanding ang syudad tali ning maong mga organisasyon sayo ning tuig.

Tungod niini, giaghat ang mga katawhan sa syudad kinsa adunay mga bata nga naghambin sa maong suliran sa pagduol sa JRBGH alang sa dugang kasayuran. (ACM/CIO Photos)
