The Department of Surgery of Maria Reyna Xavier University Hospital condemn to the highest degree the brutal and senseless murder of its founder, former chairman and Medical Director Dr. Raul Winston P. Andutan, while on his way to the hospital last December 2, 2021. The dastardly act committed by merciless elements slaughtered a good man, a competent surgeon and a compassionate doctor.

This cry for truth and justice for Dr. Raul Andutan calls for bringing the offenders of this contemptible crime to court and making them liable for their senseless act not only against him and his family but also against the medical community and the patients he is serving.

We plead to the authorities to pursue this relentlessly and unceasingly and never let such heinous act pass without the appropriate consequences.
We deeply mourn the untimely passing of our beloved Dr. Andutan and pray that justice will soon prevail.
