Empowering health personnel and mothers alike, ensuring proper nutrition, safe, healthy, and supported breastfeeding practices during the critical first 1,000 days of a child’s life.

The 𝐒𝐚𝐧 𝐒𝐢𝐦𝐨𝐧 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 recently conducted the 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 (𝗙𝗛𝗔𝗛𝗣) 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 and 𝗣𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗮 𝘀𝗮 𝗡𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 from March 17–18 and March 30–31.

A highlight of the program was the Hands-Only CPR Lecture and Return Demonstration, led by the HEMS Department in collaboration with the Liceo de Cagayan University College of Nursing.

"Kuyug ta sa Serbisyo sa Baryo" is one of the flagship programs under the administration of Mayor Klarex Uy. It aims to bring the services of the local government directly to the doorsteps of the people in the barangays.

Through this initiative, the administration seeks to make public services more accessible and convenient for residents, ensuring that government support reaches even the most remote communities efficiently and effectively.

In observance of Rabies Awareness Month, a series of activities were conducted in Cagayan de Oro City through the initiative of the City Health Office, under the leadership of Dr. Rachel D. Dilla, City Health Officer.

City Health Office ANIMAL BITE TREATMENT CENTER organized various competitions, including a Slogan Making Contest, Poster Making Contest, and IEC Video Contest, which aimed to promote awareness on rabies prevention and responsible pet ownership. This was held at the Limketkai event place.

Vaccination efforts, which continue to safeguard thousands of dogs and households is done by the City Veterinary Office, headed by Dr. Helen Ann P. Tacandong, Acting City Veterinarian.

These initiatives were made possible through the collective efforts of veterinarians, health workers, teachers, and volunteers.

Sincere appreciation is extended to all frontliners for their dedication and invaluable service to the community.
