The Cagayan de Oro City Health Office National Immunization Program is conducting a 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘 𝗠𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗹𝗲𝘀-𝗥𝘂𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗜𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗧𝗢𝗗𝗔𝗬, 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝟮𝟰, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 (𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆), 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗱 𝟲–𝟱𝟵 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵𝘀!

Vaccination sites and schedules:

• GAISANO PUERTO and SM DOWNTOWN (SMDT): 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at their respective designated activity areas

• GAISANO BULUA: 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Bulua Terminal - Front & Back Area

The DOH and CHO strongly encourage parents to have their children vaccinated for added protection against measles, rubella, and other vaccine-preventable diseases. Please bring your child’s immunization card if available.

LOOK: The City Health Office CDO consistently maintains its position that the reported leptospirosis deaths in Cogon Market does not reflect in the official records of herein office. A review on the official death certificate of the purported individual does not indicate such illness as the cause of death thereto.

The attending physician therein unequivocally stated her findings sans leptospirosis. Be it as it may, the CHO continues to monitor the prevailing condition with utmost diligence as the case is treated seriously given its nature as affecting public safety in general.

LOOK: People’s Day Program of Mayor Rolando “Klarex” Uy | January 19, 2026 at Barangay Baikingon Covered Court

The aim of People's Day is to bring City Hall services closer to the people of the city, so that more residents can benefit from them.

Mayor Klarex also launched the city-wide Measles-Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity (MRSIA) during the said program. He urged parents to have children aged 6 months to 4 years and 11 months vaccinated against measles and rubella. The public was also informed that the vaccines are free at designated centers until February 13.
