FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQs) tungkol sa aming programa.

1. *May schedule po ba kayo ng operasyon?*

Opo. Mayroon kaming regular na schedule ng operasyon bawat buwan. Ang aming team ay tuloy-tuloy na nagbibigay ng libreng operasyon para sa mga batang may cleft lip (bingot) at cleft palate.

2. *Saan po ginaganap ang mga operasyon?*

Ang aming monthly cleft surgery ay ginaganap sa Davao City. Dito po isinasagawa ang screening at operasyon ng aming mga volunteer doctors at medical team.

3. *Ano-ano po ang requirements para maoperahan?*

- *Para sa Cleft Lip (Bingot):*
- 6 months old pataas
- May timbang na hindi bababa sa *8 kilos*.
- *Para sa Cleft Palate (Ngalangala):*
- 1 year old pataas
- May timbang na hindi bababa sa *10 kilos*.

Mahalaga ang tamang edad at timbang upang masigurong ligtas ang bata habang inooperahan para sa mas mabilis na paggaling.

The Philippine Society for Orphan Disorders Incorporated, together with the University of the Philippines Manila Institute of Human Genetics - NIH, Newborn Screening Reference Center, Newborn Screening Centers, and Volunteer Youth Leaders for Health - Philippines, invites volunteers, advocates, organizations, and agencies to join the annual celebration of National Rare Disease Week (NRDW). In the Philippines, the last week of February is dedicated to people living with a .

On February 22-28, the country will be observing the 17th National Rare Disease Week with the theme, “More than You can Imagine.” Around the globe, there are more than 300 million people living with a rare disease and approximately 6000 types of rare conditions. By sharing their stories, promoting awareness, and supporting their cause, we uplift the rare disease community – a community that is diverse but united in purpose.

Together, we can create a brighter future for Filipinos living with a rare disease beyond what we can imagine.

This February, we proudly celebrate National Down Syndrome Consciousness Month.

Through Presidential Proclamation No. 157, issued on February 18, 2002, the month of February was officially declared National Down Syndrome Consciousness Month—a time to raise awareness, promote inclusion, and celebrate the unique abilities, voices, and contributions of persons with Down Syndrome.

This month reminds us that understanding leads to acceptance, and acceptance leads to a more inclusive society for all.

Autism Consciousness Week
