π¨ HIV Infections Are on the Rise Up by 500%! π±
Department of Health (DOH) has announced a sharp increase in HIV cases, with around 57 new cases detected every day in the Philippines. As our country faces this growing challenge, itβs important for every Filipino to be informed about HIV and AIDS how itβs transmitted, how to prevent it, and where to get tested by spreading accurate education and information, we can stop the spread and save lives. β€οΈ
The most affected are young key populations, ages 15 and above.
This alarming increase calls for urgent action through awareness, education, and empowerment. π
Thatβs why Peer Education is essential. By empowering communities with correct information, we can break the stigma, prevent new infections, and encourage more people to get tested.
