🌟 MCOST 20th Anniversary Logo Making Contest 🌟

We are excited to announce the official Logo Making Contest for our 20th Anniversary celebration. This initiative invites you to contribute a distinctive design that will serve as the emblem for our milestone.

The grand prize is ₱20,000 cash

Eligibility
Open exclusively to MCOST residents, active consultants, and alumni. Multiple submissions per participant are encouraged.

Design Guidelines
Theme: Designs must reflect the significance of MCOST's 20th Anniversary.
Format: Digitized artwork at a minimum of 300 DPI, submitted as .png, .jpg, or .tiff files.
Include raw files in JPEG/PNG and a separate TIFF (minimum 300 pixels).
Filename convention: [Your Full Name].[extension] (e.g., JuanDeLaCruz.png). For multiple entries: [Your Full Name]01.png, [Your Full Name]02.png, etc.
The logo design must not include the artist's name.

Submission Process
Email your entry to mcoststrong01@gmail.com with the subject line: “MCOST20 Logo – [Your Full Name]”.
Include your basic information: full name, address, and contact number.
Deadline: December 10, 2025, 11:59 PM (Contest period: November 23 – December 13, 2025).
Awards and Announcement
The grand prize is ₱20,000 cash. The winning entry will be announced on December 17, 2025, via official MCOST social media channels, email, and phone from the Training Committee.
Judging Criteria

Concept and Relevance: 40%
Originality: 30%
Creativity and Impact: 30%

Terms and Conditions
By submitting, you affirm that the design is your original work, unpublished in other contests, and free from third-party copyright infringement. Participants are responsible for verifying authenticity in case of disputes. All entries become the property of MCOST, which reserves exclusive rights to the winning design for use in websites, media, and corporate materials. Minor refinements to the final artwork may be applied as needed.

The Mindanao Consortium on Surgical Training proudly participated in the 89th PCS Foundation Celebration, National Outreach Day on September 6, 2025!
Under the theme “Bridging Gaps, Transforming Lives with Quality Surgery,” we joined 125 hospitals across the Philippines in a virtual event via Zoom, performing simultaneous surgeries to transform lives.

September 2025 Surgical Mission!

The Mindanao Consortium on Surgical Training warmly invites you to our quarterly in-house surgical mission this September 2025 at Capitol University Medical Center in Cagayan de Oro City! We’re excited to offer surgical care for patients with thyroid masses, small and large intestinal masses, gastric masses, hernias, a**l masses, and soft tissue masses.

Patient screening starts this week! Visit our Out-Patient Department at Capitol University Medical Center to register. Our dedicated team is here to guide you every step of the way.

Please note: This mission will not cover gynecologic, ophthalmologic, orthopedic, neurosurgical, or urologic cases.
