PCGH Human Milk Bank (HMB) conducted an activity to support Community Health Workers (CHWs) responsible for collecting expressed breast milk from donor mothers in their communities. To ensure safe, hygienic transport of donated milk, the facility provided wheeled coolers to CHWs.

Maraming salamat sa lahat ng masisipag na community health workers na patuloy na nanghihikayat at nagdadala ng mga donasyong gatas ng Ina sa Pasig City General Hospital-Human MIlk Bank mula sa kanilang mga barangay.

Ito po ay malaking tulong sa mga pasyenteng kulang sa buwan at may sakit na naka admit sa hospital.

On behalf of all our paDEDE moms/breastmilk donors in Pasig City, as well as the dedicated health center staff lead by the Pasig City Nutrition Committee who tirelessly collect and deliver donated milk from their communities — and of course, our hardworking Human Milk Bank team who have spent several days pasteurizing — the PCGH- HMB were able to send 8,000 mL of pasteurized donor milk to Cebu and 10,000 mL of raw breastmilk to the Philippine General Hospital.

May our kababayans feel the warmth of our care and unity during these challenging times.

Ang HMB ay muling nag-ikot sa komunidad para sa screening interview at blood extraction ng ating mga breastmilk donors. Ito ay upang masigurado ang ligtas at kalidad na gatas na dinonate para sa mga sanggol na naka-admit sa NICU.
Maraming salamat din sa masipag na medtech mula sa Laboratory Department ng PCGH na laging naming nakakasama sa pag iikot.
