Oplan Kaagapay | Serving with Compassion this Lenten Season

In the spirit of reflection, sacrifice, and love this Lenten season, JCI Cainta extends its heartfelt support to the 54 families affected by the recent fire in Mangahan Village East, Cainta, Rizal.

Through Oplan Kaagapay, we were able to deliver relief goods, bringing not only essential needs, but also hope and comfort during this difficult time.

This meaningful initiative was made possible through the collaboration and generosity of many, together with the support of Kap Engr. Benson Conde and JCI Metro Rizal RVP Charis Kay Ilagan.

As we journey through Lent, may we continue to embody the true essence of service, lifting others, sharing what we can, and being a source of light in times of darkness.

Bump and Beyond: Understanding the Journey to Motherhood

Last March 27,2028, in partnership with the One Cainta Health Office and Barangay San Andres, we successfully conducted a Buntis Congress dedicated to supporting and empowering expectant mothers in our community.

Through counseling sessions and meaningful discussions, this initiative promoted awareness, prevention, and proper care—ensuring a healthier future for both mother and child. It became a safe space for mothers to learn, connect, and gain confidence as they navigate the journey of pregnancy and motherhood.

A highlight of the event was the inspiring sharing of our 2023 LO President and now RVP Charis Kay Ilagan, who generously opened up about her personal journey in motherhood, offering relatable insights, encouragement, and strength to all the participants. Her story reflected the essence of authentic leadership: leading through experience, empathy, and example.

As part of our Pinay Power advocacy, we believe that empowering Filipino mothers is a cornerstone of nation-building. When mothers are informed, supported, and uplifted, families grow stronger and communities become more resilient.

Guided by servant leadership, this initiative reflects our commitment to lead with purpose, compassion, and action, creating spaces where every mother feels seen, heard, and cared for. Because true leadership is not only about guiding others, but about nurturing lives and shaping a better tomorrow for the next generation.

𝙍𝙄𝙎𝙀 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙒𝙊𝙍𝙆: Empowering Communities Through Opportunity

Last March 10, 2026, JCI Cainta successfully launched Rise and Work, a Job Fair dedicated to providing meaningful employment opportunities for members of the community. In partnership with FDI and Barangay San Andres, this initiative aimed to uplift lives by connecting job seekers to potential employers and opening doors to new beginnings.

More than just a job fair, Rise and Work represents hope, resilience, and a fresh start for individuals striving to build a better future. As a simple gesture of support, we distributed ballpens and good luck notes to inspire and encourage each applicant on their journey.

Through initiatives like this, JCI Cainta remains committed to fostering inclusive growth, empowering individuals, and creating lasting impact through service.

The health and well-being of public servants and employees remain a fundamental priority in fostering an effective and resilient community. In line with this commitment, a Free Medical Check-Up and Laboratory Services activity was successfully conducted on March 12, 2026, for the barangay employees of Brgy. San Andres, Cainta, Rizal.

The initiative aimed to provide accessible and preventive healthcare services to frontline public workers who continuously dedicate their time and efforts in serving the community. The activity included general medical consultations, basic health assessments, and essential laboratory tests, enabling early detection of potential health concerns and promoting awareness on the importance of regular health monitoring.

This program was made possible through the collaborative efforts and partnership with Kap. Benson Conde and FTCC, whose support and shared vision significantly contributed to the success of the activity. Their involvement underscores the value of multi-sectoral cooperation in delivering impactful community-based health programs.

Through initiatives such as this, we reaffirm our commitment to promoting the welfare of public servants, recognizing that their health is vital in sustaining quality public service and advancing community development.
