10 years ago, nang maoperahan siya at inalisan ng left thyroid o ang tinatawag ng iba na goiter. Sabi nila umuulit daw po ang bukol kahit naoperahan na. At year 2015 nga nang sumibol ulit ang bukol sa right thyroid naman niya. Nagsunod-sunod ang tests niya at inadvise ng doctor niya na ipapaopera daw ulit. Dahil natrigger ng goiter ang high blood niya, everytime siya kukunan ng tests palaging di normal. Ayaw magopera ng doctor niya pag ganung di pa okay lahat. May pagkakataon na ready na si mama noon for operation kaso di talaga nakisama ang mga blood tests niya. Pinauwi siya at binigyan ng gamot.
That was 3 years ago. Pero tuloy pa rin si mama sa pag-inom niya ng levothyroxine (maintenance sa goiter) at Losartan, etc. Hanggang napagod na uminom nito at pinalit sa maintenance sa blood pressure ay Buah Merah. Umayos naman bp niya dito hindi katulad ng umaabot kami noon sa point na dadalhin ko siya sa ER para lang pabababain ang BP. Kasamaan pa dati wala daw siyang nararamdaman kahit 200/110 na ung BP niya. Takot na takot na nga ang mga nurses sa kanya at baka daw may makaputok na ugat sa ulo at ma-stroke. Pero deadma wala talaga sa kanya iyon. Umuuwi na lang kami na parang walang nangyari.
Bumili na ko ng pam-BP noon at nag-aral bumasa ng blood pressure para lang mabantayan ang dugo niya. Ilang taon na rin ang lumipas at nangayaw na si mama magpa-opera. Ayaw na daw niya mabiyak sa leeg. Inalagaan na lang namin ng suporta sa maintenance na gamot. Deadma na sa presyo. Siguro ayaw niya na din kasi ang gastos din ng pabalik balik kakapalaboratory tapos papaopera pa, gamot pa. Kung anu-ano pang sinubukan inumin. Laga-laga na din ng dahon-dahon, bili ng herbal, atbp.
Hanggang dumating sa point na nakilala namin si i-Fern. Nakakabigla na nakaka-amaze na yung bukol niya o yung goiter niya nawala na! 😱 Gaano kalaki ang bola ng baseball para maglaho na lang ng ganun ganun na lang. Opo! HFMD (Hand Foot Mouth Disease)

My 2 years old baby boy got this.

Viral infection na sya, 5years old below ang madalas nagkakaroon nito.

At first akala namin chickenpox sya.
