It's July 2021! Happy 47th Nutrition Month! 🇵🇭

For this year's theme, "Malnutrisyon patuloy na labanan, First 1000 days tutukan", the said days pertain to the first 1000 days of life of a person, specifically:

🤰 270 days of conception and pregnancy in the mother's womb;
🤱 365 days for the 1st year of life of the baby; and
👶 another 365 days for the 2nd year.

Why is the nutrition of the mother and the baby important during these days?

Studies have shown that more than that of other life stages, the quality of nutrition during these crucial days can significantly impact the health & well-being of the person up to the later years of life. That is why it is also referred to as the "golden window of opportunity"! 🌟

We're back!!!

Or should I say, "I'm back!" 😄

Hi there, healthy hustler! 👋

Yes, it has been weeks, months even, that I barely did post any content. I just shared a few stories here and there. I had some clients who got their consultations while some are inquiring.

It has been challenging for me because in pursuing this brand, I need to handle all the aspects - Marketing, Administrative, Finance, Technical Knowledge or the Nutrition itself, & so on. (Excited talaga ako kung paano pa ako matutulungan ng soon-to-launch app na NutriCoach.) 😊 On top of these, I got a side hustle to which I adjusted for a while. ✊

Anyway, I wanted to share with you how I have been baking the name of this brand. To those who have been following me for a while now, you know that I call my brand as "AMCO, RND" which is basically the initials of my full name and the suffix of my profession. That is, Alyssa Marie C. Odiada, Registered Nutritionist-Dietitian. ✨ However, to some people, it is hard to remember, and to me, it barely puts the message across unfamiliar ears and it doesn't fit much the logo.

Back to the name, I finally decided to change it to "A.O. Dietetics - Diet & Nutrition Consultations" while still keeping my handle .rnd The name so far encompasses the limitless visions I have for this brand - visions I hope to make reality one step at a time. 👣

Thank you for reading up to this point and for being with me on this journey! I'm here again reminding you to always find the balance between hustle and self-care!

✅Muscle & other body organs.

Yes, it's not all excess fat, friend!
