That’s the journey we celebrate every day. ✨

This morning, what started as a simple stretch turned into something more. A learner who once hesitated to move joined the activity slowly, quietly and bravely. With each step, you could see the change a little more confidence, a little more courage. By the end of the activities, there was a smile. A proud, genuine smile. 😊

That’s what Fitness and Recreation means at Akbay’s Transition Program. Not just exercise but moments of breakthrough. 💕

Our Akbay Summer Program, Transition Class proudly engaged in Dishwashing Liquid Making.
A meaningful life skills activity that nurtures independence.

From carefully measuring ingredients to mixing and observing the process, every step became an opportunity to learn patience, follow instructions, and work with purpose. What may seem like a simple task is actually a powerful step toward preparing our learners for life skills and future opportunities.
