CALAMBA COMMUNITY HOSPITAL
An Act Providing for the Establishment of a Community Hospital in the Municipality of Calamba, Province of Misamis Occidental, and Authorizing the Appropriation of Funds Therefor
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:
Section 1. There shall be established, under the direct supervision of the Director of Medical Serv

ices, a community hospital in the Municipality of Calamba, Province of Misamis Occidental, to be known Calamba Community Hospital. The sum of one hundred thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the establishment, operation and maintenance of said hospital during the fiscal year nineteen hundred sixty-seven. This Act shall take effect upon its approval. Approved: June 17, 1967.

We are gathered today to commemorate World Patient Safety Day, a day dedicated to raising global awareness about the critical importance of patient safety. This year, our theme resonates deeply with the core of our purpose: "Safe Care for Every Newborn and Every Child."
