Cleft lip and palate are among the most common birth differences worldwide. Nangyayari ito kapag ang mga bahagi ng mukha at bibig ng sanggol ay hindi ganap na nagdikit sa sinapupunan.

Genetic factors: Mas mataas ang posibilidad kung may kasaysayan ng bingot sa pamilya.

Environmental factors: Kalusugan at nutrisyon ng ina (halimbawa, kakulangan sa folic acid), at pagkalantad sa sigarilyo, alak, o ilang gamot habang nagbubuntis ay puwedeng magpataas ng panganib.

Hindi man lahat ng sanhi ay kayang iwasan, malaking tulong ang tamang kaalaman at pag-aalaga sa pagbubuntis para mapababa ang panganib.

1. Dapat po ay maayos ang inyong pakiramdam sa araw ng blood donation.
2. Dapat kayo po ay may 8 hours na tulog
3. Age: 16-17 with consent
18-55 pwede po magdonate hanggang 65 kung regular donor
55 ang first time
4. May BP NA 100/70 hanggang 140/90
5. Para po sa mga may mens:
—1st day of mens-60 kls ^
—mababa sa 60 kls hindi po pwede
6. Naoperahan, nanganak, may tattoo, butas sa tainga—atleast 1year na po
7. Hepatitis b-permanent deferal
8. Nabakunahan-atleast 1 month
9. Nakainom ng gamot-paracetamol o mefenamic—atleast 24-48hours na nakainom
————antibiotic-atleast 5days na nakainom
————hypertension-pwede po magdonation
