๐ต๐ญโจ Flag Raising Ceremony โจ๐ต๐ญ
As we begin a new week, we are reminded that leadership is not defined by position, but by example. It is reflected in how we serve with humility, integrity, sincerity, and a genuine heart.
True greatness is found not in recognition, but in lifting others, inspiring hope, and putting love into action. In this Season of Lent, may we continue to embody compassion, accountability, and excellence in all that we do.
Todayโs ceremony is proudly hosted by the Administrative Services Division, whose quiet dedication and steadfast commitment consistently strengthen our mission.
Your faithful service behind the scenes ensures that our institution continues to deliver quality and humanized care.
Let this Monday be a fresh opportunity to lead with purpose, serve with passion, and live out our callingโServing with Hearts in Our Hands.

Inspired by the love of the Good Samaritan, Jesus Christ, and the example of their Father Founder St. Camillus de Lellis, patron saint of the sick, hospitals, and healthcare workers, the Camillians in the Philippines, through the St. Camillus Polyclinic Charity Foundation of the Camillian Fathers, Inc., established the St. Camillus Hospital in Calbayog City, Western Samar, in 1996.
Through the years since its opening, St. Camillus Hospital has been faithful in carrying out its mission to become significant in the lives of the people of Calbayog City and its neighboring towns by promoting human dignity and quality of life in the communities through consistently committing itself in a competent, compassionate, and relevant promotion of health and well-being of the Samareรฑos.
As a Catholic, non-stock, non-profit, charitable institution, it tries its very best to become self-sustaining, and, at the same time, responsive to the ever-challenging demands in the delivery of quality healthcare services.
This feat is not easy for St. Camillus Hospital, though. However, because of its dependable consultants, staff, and other local and international collaborators who continue to believe and share in its mission, St. Camillus Hospital is able to survive the tests of times.
Today, the 50-bed capacity hospital is relentless in improving its facilities for a more conducive place of healing for its clients. Little by little, up-to-date machines and equipment have been provided for its laboratory, X-ray, and other departments for fast and reliable test results.
A special feature of the hospital has been recently constructed: the Pediatric Ward.
Aside from its hospital-based services, St. Camillus Hospital has been esteemed for its commitment and extensive years of experience in the promotion of health in the communities through its Surgical, Medical, and Dental Mission Program targeting depressed and disaster-stricken areas in Samar.
Amidst the triumphs, small and big alike, St. Camillus Hospital has still a very long way to go in pursuing its goals for a more caring, creative, contextualized, and Christ-centered healthcare services.
As a charity hospital, following the instruction of St. Camillus to โput more heart into your handsโ in serving the sick, it still necessitates more resources to respond to the urgent need of procuring other state-of-the-art machines and equipment to compliment the competent and compassionate services provided by its mission-sharers โ the medical and allied-medical staff and other collaborators โ for its clienteles, be it in the hospital or in the community health development target areas.
