โ€œThe Crucifixion of Jesus: A Love that Conquered Denial and Betrayalโ€

This Lenten season, we are gently reminded of a profound truth we often overlook that despite our weaknesses, failures, and moments of turning away, we remain deeply and unconditionally loved.

Through the Lenten Recollection held on:

๐Ÿ“… Batch 2: March 19, 2026
we reflected on the depth of Christโ€™s love on the Cross a love that remained steadfast in the face of denial and betrayal. A love that never falters, never abandons, and never ceases to call us back.

With the spiritual guidance of Rev. Fr. Dennis E. Morales, MI, hearts were moved, minds renewed, and souls inspired to return, to trust, and to believe once more.

In addition, we joyfully celebrated the Feast of Saint Joseph through a Eucharistic Celebrationโ€”honoring his quiet strength, faithful love, and humble service. May his example continue to inspire us to trust in God more deeply and to live with courage, obedience, and unwavering faith.

Inspired by the love of the Good Samaritan, Jesus Christ, and the example of their Father Founder St. Camillus de Lellis, patron saint of the sick, hospitals, and healthcare workers, the Camillians in the Philippines, through the St. Camillus Polyclinic Charity Foundation of the Camillian Fathers, Inc., established the St. Camillus Hospital in Calbayog City, Western Samar, in 1996.

Through the years since its opening, St. Camillus Hospital has been faithful in carrying out its mission to become significant in the lives of the people of Calbayog City and its neighboring towns by promoting human dignity and quality of life in the communities through consistently committing itself in a competent, compassionate, and relevant promotion of health and well-being of the Samareรฑos.
