A Congenital Anomaly scan, also known as a mid-pregnancy scan will check your baby's body for conditions such as cleft lip and spina bifida. The sonographer will also check the position of your placenta. This is a routine part of your antenatal care. It's often an opportunity to see your baby's face for the first time, and possibly find out the s*x of your baby😊
