The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Semirara is “Bringing Bright Smile to YOUth! – a FREE Dental Mission to fuel the confidence of youth in Barangay Semirara, in partnership with Orais Dental Clinic and BLGU – Semirara. We believe everyone deserves access to essential dental care because healthy smiles build stronger futures.

Join us for:
✅Tooth Extractions (Bunot)
✅Dentures (Pustiso, 1-2 ngipin)

📅Date: August 11-12, 2025 (Tooth Extractions)
August 13-17, 2025 (Dentures)
🕒 Time: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
📍Location: Barangay Semirara Gymnasium (Tooth Extractions)

Important Reminder:
1. Beneficiaries must be a resident of Barangay Semirara that ages 7-30 years old. Bring a photocopy of valid ID (school ID, Barangay ID or any valid ID)
2. To those below 18 years old, the parent/guardian must be present throughout the procedure.
3. Services are FREE but first-come, first served.
4. 150 beneficiaries for Tooth Extractions and 40 beneficiaries for Dentures.
5. ONLY 75 patients will cater per day for Tooth Extractions.

A case of [peri-apical granuloma| radicular granuloma| apical granuloma] a chronic inflammatory mass that develops at the tip of a tooth's root caused by decayed tooth.

A periapical granuloma is a relatively common lesion or growth that develops around the tip of a tooth’s root. It consists of a proliferating mass of granulation tissue (new tissue that forms on a wound) and bacteria that forms in response to dead tissue in the pulp chamber of the tooth. The death of the pulp may be due to extensive decay, deep restorations, or trauma to the tooth. The formulation of a periapical granuloma represents the body’s attempt to heal and wall off an infection.
