Accommodative Esotropia with Refractive Amblyopia is a condition where the inward deviation of one or both eyes occurs due to the effort of accommodation, particularly hyperopic patients.
It is the most common type of Esotropia in children, accounting for nearly one third of all strabismus patients.
The condition may involve a high AC/A ratio, where the Esotropia increases when the patient is accommodating on a near target.

AMBLYOPIA (also called lazy eye) is a type of poor vision that usually happens in just 1 eye but less commonly in both eyes. It develops when there’s a breakdown in how the brain and the eye work together, and the brain can’t recognize the sight from 1 eye.

📣Symptoms of Amblyopia can be hard to notice.
Kids with amblyopia may have POOR DEPTH PERCEPTION — they have trouble telling how near or far something is.

STRABISMUS (Crossed Eyes) is a common eye condition among children. It is when the eyes are not lined up properly and they point in different directions (misaligned).

3 Common Types of Strabismus:
