Accommodative Spasm (or Ciliary Spasm) is a condition where the eye's focusing muscle (ciliary muscle) remains in a constant, involuntary state of contraction, preventing proper relaxation when looking at distant objects.
📣It causes blurred distance vision, pseudo-myopia, eye strain, and headaches, often triggered by prolonged, intense near-work, digital screen use, or stress, particularly in children and young adults.
