The session provided our midwives with important new learnings, especially on the proper use of the partograph and the essential steps to take in managing cases more effectively.

These insights will greatly help us improve the quality of care we provide to our mothers and babies.

A Successful 3-in-1 Event for Carmen! 💚

Yesterday’s activity was truly meaningful as we gathered pregnant moms, seniors, and community members for a day filled with learning, health empowerment, and expanded access to PhilHealth services. We are proud to share that we were able to cater estimated 300 participants, including non-registered pregnant women and senior citizens who availed of the services and orientations.

⚠️ November 4, 2025 ‼️

✅ Random checking of evacuation centers was conducted.

Thanks to all the doctors from Carmen Bohol PCF and the DRRMO, we were able to attend to patients from different barangay evacuation centers and distribute medicines. 🩺💊

Although we were not able to finish today due to the heavy rain, we will make sure to continue and complete the activity so that everyone can be accommodated. ☔️🌂

Be Prepared for Typhoon “Tino”

The Carmen, Bohol Primary Care Facility reminds everyone to stay alert and prepared as Typhoon “Tino” is expected to bring strong winds and heavy rains within the week.

⚕️ Health & Safety Reminders:

✅ Keep your first aid kits, maintenance medicines, and clean drinking water ready.

✅ Store food that doesn’t spoil easily and make sure your flashlights and power banks are charged.

✅ Avoid wading through floodwaters to prevent leptospirosis and other waterborne diseases.

✅ Keep children and elderly family members indoors and safe.

✅ Ensure proper disposal of waste to prevent dengue and other illnesses after the storm.

Our health personnel are on alert and ready to assist in case of emergencies.

To all expectant mothers and families, our PRIMARY CARE FACILITY offers safe, affordable, and quality birthing services for our community.

👩‍🍼 For PhilHealth Members:
✅ FREE – No payment required for normal delivery.

👶 For Non-PhilHealth Members:
💰 Normal Delivery: ₱3,000
💉 Newborn Screening: ₱1,800

📅 PhilHealth Desk Schedule:
Our PhilHealth representative is available every Tuesday of the 2nd and 4th week of the month to assist you with registration, membership, or any PhilHealth-related concerns.

Your health and your baby’s safety are our priority.

📣 PUBLIC ADVISORY ON INFLUENZA-LIKE ILLNESS (ILI) 🦠
As of October 2025

We are closely monitoring reports of increasing Influenza-Like Illness (ILI) cases in the Luzon Region. While there is no official local resolution yet, we strongly remind everyone to remain vigilant and take preventive measures to stop the possible spread of respiratory infections in our community.

😷 Preventive Measures:

Wear a face mask in public and private facilities, especially in crowded or enclosed areas.

Practice proper hand hygiene — wash hands frequently or use alcohol-based sanitizers.

Cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing.

Stay home if you are experiencing fever, cough, sore throat, or other flu-like symptoms.

Seek medical consultation if symptoms persist or worsen.

Let us all work together to protect ourselves, our families, and our community. Updates will be provided once the Municipal Resolution is released.
