Dizziness is one of the most common symptoms that brings people to the doctor — and it has many potential causes, ranging from dehydration and blood pressure changes to migraines and vision problems.

But one of the most common sources is the inner ear, which plays a key role in both balance and hearing. When the inner ear isn’t functioning properly, you may notice:

🌀 Dizziness or vertigo
🚶‍♂️ Trouble with balance or walking
👂 Hearing loss
📢 Tinnitus (ringing or buzzing in one or both ears)

Clogged or stuffy ears are a common problem and usually nothing serious.

They’re often caused by things like earwax buildup, sinus pressure, fluid from ear infections, or past noise damage.

Sometimes this leads to muffled hearing or temporary hearing loss, but it usually clears on its own. If your hearing doesn’t return to normal, it’s a good idea to visit a hearing specialist.
