As per DEPED order and a separate executive order issued by our Acting Municipal Mayor Esteban Angilan, there will be a suspension of classes in all levels within the municipality of Catigbian due to Orange Rainfall Alert issued by PAGASA. All are advised to be vigilant against possible threats of landslides, flooding and other associated hazards.

BREAKING: Monkeypox has been detected in the Philippines.

The Department of Health says the patient is a 31-year-old Filipino who arrived from abroad on July 19. The patient had prior travel to countries with documented monkeypox cases.

The disease can be transmitted to humans through close contact with an infected individual.
