Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) remains one of the leading causes of illness worldwide — but with awareness, early detection, and prevention, we can protect our lungs and our future.

🚭 Smoking and exposure to secondhand smoke, as well as long-term air pollution, are major causes of COPD. Every cigarette avoided, every clean breath taken, is a step toward healthier lungs and a healthier life.

Last November 14, 2025, Cauayan District Hospital proudly joined the global celebration of World Diabetes Day through an interactive health education session for our patients and community.

This meaningful activity highlighted the importance of:
✨ Diabetes awareness
✨ Early detection and regular monitoring
✨ Timely prevention to avoid serious complications

Through this lecture, our patients were also introduced to modern and updated diabetes care, empowering them to better understand their condition and take charge of their health.
