We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Barangay Masaling for the invitation to be part of your 1st Quarter Barangay Assembly with the theme: "Nagkakaisang Barangay tungo sa Kalinisan, Kaayusan, Kapayapa-an at Kaunlaran."

It was truly an honor to share valuable insights on health prevention and to engage with the community in promoting awareness on disease prevention. Opportunities like this strengthen our commitment to empower every individual with the knowledge and responsibility to protect their health.

Together, through unity and cooperation, we can build a healthier, safer, and more progressive community for all.

🐾✨ PAW-SION WITH A PURPOSE: PAW ON THE RUNWAY ✨🐾

March 27, 2026| marks another remarkable milestone for Cauayan District Hospital as we continue to celebrate Rabies Awareness Month in the most fun, creative, and meaningful way through our “Paw-sion Show: Paw on the Runway.” 🐶💖

The day kicked off with a free anti-rabies vaccination for our beloved pets, made possible through our strong collaboration with the Municipal Agriculture Office (MAO), led by Sir Vito Birondo. This was followed by the distribution of informative pamphlets and a brief Rabies Awareness Campaign to educate our community on prevention and responsible pet care.

🌟 The highlight of the event:
Our adorable and talented dogs took center stage—strutting, wiggling, and walking with charm and confidence alongside their proud fur parents. From playful steps to graceful walks, each participant truly captured the spirit of “paw-sion” on the runway! 🐕✨

More than just a showcase of cuteness, this event serves as a powerful reminder of responsible pet ownership—that our pets deserve not only our love and affection but also proper care, protection, and vaccination.

💙 A heartfelt THANK YOU to our generous sponsors:
• Top Breed Feeds by URC
• Madam Carmina Mayoga of Fiat OPC
• Miss Shiela Joy Dolfo, owner of Kelvin’s Perfect Bite

👏 To all our participants, winners, and community members—thank you for making this event a success!

Together, let us continue to promote awareness and action because:
“Rabies Free na Pusa’t A*o, Kaligtasan ng Pamilyang Pilipino!” 🇵🇭🐾

Empowering Communities through Mental Health Support

Cauayan District Hospital proudly spearheaded the 3-day Basic Facilitators Training Course on Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS), bringing together participants from various sectors and government agencies.
This meaningful initiative aims to equip participants with essential knowledge, skills, and attitudes in promoting mental health, and in delivering Psychosocial Support and Psychological First Aid (PFA)—especially during times of crises, disasters, and emergencies.

Through collaboration and shared commitment, we continue to strengthen our capacity to respond with compassion, care, and professionalism.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated resource speakers from the CLMMRH Mental Health Unit and the Provincial Health Office Mental Health Program, for generously sharing their expertise, time, and valuable experiences.

Together, we build a more resilient and mentally healthy community.

Another remarkable day for Cauayan District Hospital as we proudly joined hands with the Cauayan Primary Care Facility TB Team in celebration of World TB Day! 💪❤️

Today, we successfully conducted an inter-department campaign to END TB—bringing together our healthcare workers and employees to strengthen awareness on the initiatives and actions we continuously undertake in the fight against Tuberculosis. This activity reminds us that every role matters, and every effort counts in protecting our community.

As the sun set, we stood united with the entire nation in the “Light Up PH to End TB” campaign. Our Municipal Hall glowed in red, symbolizing hope, solidarity, and our unwavering commitment to eliminate TB. Simultaneously doing it in our own different TB DOTS facilities, the same light shone—one country, one goal, one fight. 🔴

This initiative is more than a celebration—it is a call to action. TB is curable and preventable, and together—with the support of our leaders, partners, stakeholders, and every Filipino—we can end TB. Through the spirit of bayanihan, we move forward as one community, one nation, determined to create a TB-free Philippines.

Yes, Pilipinas—kaya natin ‘to. Let’s continue to stand together and 💙

March 24 | World TB Day

Today, we join the world in raising awareness and taking action against Tuberculosis. 💙

Cauayan District Hospital stands with every Filipino, every family, and every community in spreading an important reminder: TB awareness is everyone’s responsibility. By being informed, vigilant, and proactive, we can protect not only ourselves but also those around us.

Tuberculosis is contagious, but the good news is — it is curable. With early detection, proper diagnosis, and strict adherence to the prescribed anti-TB treatment, lives can be saved and communities can be protected.

Let us continue to:
✔️ Magpasuri – Get tested early
✔️ Magpagamot – Follow the proper treatment
✔️ Mag-TPTodo – Stay protected and prevent transmission

Together, through awareness, discipline, and compassion, we can break the stigma and stop the spread of TB.

💪 Yes, Pilipinas — we can !
Let’s move as one nation towards a healthier, TB-free future.

As we come together to mark World TB Day this March 24, 2026, let us be reminded that awareness saves lives—and knowledge protects our community. 💙

Tuberculosis (TB) remains a serious health concern, but the good news is: it is preventable, treatable, and curable. Understanding how it spreads is the first step in stopping it. TB is transmitted through the air when a person with active TB coughs, sneezes, or spits. But remember—simple contact like handshakes, sharing utensils, or sweating does not spread TB.

✨ Let’s break the stigma and spread the right information.
✨ Let’s protect our families and communities.
✨ Let’s take action early.

If you or someone you know has symptoms such as persistent cough, fever, night sweats, or weight loss, don’t wait—get checked. Early detection leads to better outcomes.

📍 Visit Cauayan District Hospital and take advantage of our TB screening and services.
📸 Get your chest X-ray.
💊 Follow proper treatment.
❤️ Support those undergoing treatment.

Together, we can build a healthier future—free from TB!

Even on a holiday, service and learning never stop 💜

Last February 20, 2026, the Health Education and Promotion Team of Cauayan District Hospital, together with the HEPO of Cauayan PCF, spent a meaningful afternoon with the Women’s Organization of Barangay Tuyom, spearheaded by their dedicated council officers.

What could have been a day of rest turned into a powerful opportunity for growth, awareness, and empowerment. Our team conducted a health education session focusing on two vital topics—Women’s Health and Rabies Awareness—perfectly aligned with the celebrations of Women’s Month and Rabies Awareness Month this March.

The session became a space of learning and inspiration, where participants gained valuable knowledge on caring for their health through proper nutrition, regular exercise, early consultation, and preventive care. At the same time, they deepened their understanding of rabies prevention—reminding us all that awareness can save lives.

More than just a lecture, it was a shared experience filled with participation, curiosity, and community spirit. Tokens of appreciation were also given as a simple gesture of gratitude to the women who chose to spend their holiday investing in their health and well-being.

Indeed, it was a fun and fulfilling afternoon—proving that when women are empowered with knowledge, they become stronger pillars of their families and communities.

Because every woman deserves to be informed, healthy, and empowered 💜
