The DOH Central Visayas Center for Health Development - Mental Health Program creates MIKA (Mag-Istorya Kita, Amigo Amiga), an online messaging platform m.me/Talk2MIKA that provides a welcoming environment and a safe space for people who are struggling with mental health during these trying times.
We aim to provide different services through the telepsychology program for COVID-19 cases, survivors, contacts (particularly those in isolation), family members, frontline workers, and the broader community, with special attention to the needs of special or/and vulnerable groups (e.g. children, older adults, pregnant, lactating women, people at risk of and exposed to gender-based violence and people with disabilities).
Our own mental health is as important as our physical health. You are not alone. Mag-istorya ta kauban ni MIKA.
