ICYMI: The Coast Guard Medical Station – Central Visayas (CGMEDS-CV), in coordination with the Coast Guard Nursing Service Sub-Unit – Central Visayas (NSSU-CV), successfully deployed medical teams to provide essential medical assistance and conduct height measurements as part of the Initial Physical Examination (PE) Screening of three thousand eighty-three (3,083) applicants during the Nationwide Philippine Coast Guard Special Aptitude Test (PCGSAT) held from 09–10 July 2025 at the University of Cebu – Education and Training Center, Alumnos, Mambaling, Cebu City.
Said activity was facilitated by the Coast Guard Human Resource Management Command (HRMC) with the support of Human Resource Management Units across the Visayas Region, as part of the Philippine Coast Guard’s recruitment process and comprehensive selection.
This significant event was conducted with the active support and coordination of personnel from the Coast Guard District Central Visayas (CGDCV), Maritime Security Law Enforcement Group – Central Visayas (MARSLEG-CV), and Psychometricians from the Coast Guard Medical Service and MEDS-CV, who assisted in the administration and facilitation of the testing process. Their presence ensured the standardized conduct and integrity of the testing procedure.
