Ang mas masakit pa riyan ay habang mas tumataas ang presyo ng langis at mga bilihin, mapapansin mo pa kalaunan na hindi bumababa ang presyo niyan. Ganyan lang. Kung mapapansin mo, walang ibinaba ang presyo, bilihin, at pamasahe na'ting tumaas dati. Ngayon, walang babaan na 'yan ulit.

Mananatiling ganyan hanggang sa tumaas na naman. Buti kung tumataas din ang sahod na'tin nang ganun-ganun lang. E hindi. Marami ka pang gagastusin bago pa tumaas yang sahod mo.

Lugi ka kapag middle class at mahirap ka rito sa Pinas. Ang nakikinabang ngayon sa pagtaas ng presyo ay ang mga malalaking negosyante lang din.

Ang buwis na kinakaltas sa sahod mo, pang-araw-araw mo na pangangailangan, at sa pangkatuwang apps ay ganyan na. Minsan hindi mo na mapakinabangan ang binabayaran mong buwis. Ilang taon pa ang hinhintayin mo bago ka increasan ng iilang libo lang sa paycheck mo.

Ang ibang mambababatas diyan ay nanghihimutok pa at ayaw itaas ang minimum wage ng masa. Uuwi yan silang naka latest na BMW. Yung mga anak nasa ibang bansa nag-aaral. May yate pa 'yan. Naglulustay pa ng pera sa casino. May helicopter pa 'yan. May itinabi 'yan para sa bisyo niya. May pera 'yan para mag Europe trip. May inilalaan pa 'yan na 500,000 php na monthly allowance para sa sugar baby niyang querida.

Ang kakapal ng mukha. Mga garapal. Asan galing ang pera?

Sa masa. Sa atin.

Pahirap nang pahirap ngayon.

Maliban na lang kung burukrata kapitalista ka.

Paldo ka talaga. Mangurakot ka lang, may milyon-milyon ka na. Yung masa, kailangang magpa-alipin sa trabaho para sumahod lang ng katiting. Tapos ngayon, makakaranas na naman sila ng biglaang pagtaas ng presyo. Ang mga galing sa masa ay mapipilitang magtipid at bawasan ang konting luho at kasiyahan.

Tapos kasalanan mo pa kung nahihirapan ka sa pera. Kasalanan mo raw 'yan kung bakit mahirap ka.

Oo, kasi raw tamad ka. Kasi hindi ka madiskarte. Kasi hindi ka nang-iiscam. Kasi hindi ka nangibang bansa. Kasi di ka nagtapos ng pag-aaral. Sasabihin nila sa'yong kasalanan mo pa 'yan, na para bang walang parte ang malaki at sira-sirang sistemang ginawa nila sa kung bakit naging ganyan ang pamumuhay mo. Kasalanan mo lahat 'yan. Kasalanan mo rin kung hindi mo na kayang ipagkasya ang limandaan para sa noche buena mo. All your fault.

Yung mga nasa itaas? Masarap pa rin ang buhay nila. Makakabili pa rin sportscar at maeenjoy ang lupang inagaw nila gamit ang pang-iintimida. Basta andito ka lang kayong mga empleyado at maliliit na negosyante sa Pinas, may kita pa rin sila. Sarap ng buhay nila, no?

Luging-lugi ang masa. Ang buwis mo ay mapupunta sa mga buwaya at sa ayudang minsan mo lang mahahawakan at matatanggap. Sa mga substandard na pinanggagagawa karamihan sa gobyerno. Sa mga pangakong hindi tinatapos at hindi nagagawa. Sa bulok na sistemang hindi nagbabago.

? May kumukulo underneath the surface. Be very intentional and deliberate in your words and actions this week. Rajasic (active) energies ahead. May we channel these into constructive things and plans. 'Wag sa destructive. Mahirap na kapag nasimulan. When we feed recklessness, mahirap na tigilan ang consequence niyan. Think about long-term vs short term consequences before doing something a bit unhinged or unwarranted.
