Muscle Strain or pulled muscle is the stretching or tearing of muscle fibers. It is a result of fatigue, overuse, or improper use of a muscle like sudden heavy lifting with improper posture.

Symptoms:
1. Pain or tenderness
2. Limited motion or inability to use the muscle at all
3. Muscle spasms
4. Muscle weakness
5. Redness or bruising
6. Swelling

Here is an actual patient suffering from quadriceps strain. She is experiencing pain and difficulty in walking, climbing stairs or even raising the leg. PLANTAR FASCIITIS

Symptoms:
1. Pain
2. Swelling
3. Stiffness ...in one or both heels.

Pain is worse in the mornings when you take the first steps out of bed or after sitting or lying down for a while. Climbing stairs can be very difficult.

Ignoring Plantar Fasciitis can result to chronic heel pain that hinders your daily activities. Changing your walk to avoid heel pain might also lead to foot, knee, hip or back problems.
