In a celebration of our collaboration with various educational institutions to shape the minds of future graduates for the academic year 2024-2025, SMPC held a culminating ceremony on June 9, 2025, at the SMPC Function Hall, Poblacion, Sibonga, Cebu. This event marked a significant milestone for the On-The-Job Trainees, who completed their required hours at the Cooperative, immersing themselves in a rich learning environment. Throughout their training, they engaged in meaningful hands-on activities, gained invaluable insights into real-world applications, and developed essential skills for their future careers.

In a celebration steeped in significance and optimism, the newly appointed and elected officers of the Sibonga Multi-Purpose Cooperative came together to take their oath of office yesterday, April 24, 2025. The ceremony was honored by the esteemed presence of Mayor Mariano Laude, the respected leader of the Municipality of Sibonga, whose support and heartfelt address resonated with the aspirations of the audience and highlighted the importance of community service.

With a shared determination, they raised their right hands in unison, voices strong and clear as they pledged to serve the cooperative and its members with dedication and integrity.

This ceremonial occasion represented not only a formal transition in governance but also embodied a collective commitment to fostering collaboration and driving progress within the members and the community. As we approach Holy Week 2025, we would like to take this opportunity to inform our esteemed members and owners of Sibonga Multi-Purpose Cooperative about our schedule during this significant period.

From April 17 to April 20, 2025, our cooperative will be closed to allow our team and community to fully observe the traditions and reflections that this week embodies. We encourage everyone to engage in this time of reflection and renewal.

We will resume regular operations on April 21, 2025, and look forward to welcoming you back.
