Together with the Philippine College of Chest Physicians, the Perpetual Succour Hospital- Section of Adult Pulmonology and Critical Care celebrates the World Lung Day 2025, with the theme: “Healthy Lungs, Healthy Life.”

As we join this global movement to raise awareness about lung health, we encourage smokers, with respiratory symptoms, to avail of our FREE spirometry testing. Because we believe that healthy lungs should be inclusive and available for everyone!

Together, we can take steps toward healthier lungs and a more vibrant life!

In celebration of National Lung Month, the Section of Adult Pulmonology and Critical Care, in cooperation with the Departments of Internal Medicine and Radiology of Perpetual Succour Hospital, conducted a successful community wellness initiative in Brgy. Pasil, Cebu City.

The activity provided essential respiratory health services to residents and promoted awareness on lung health, prevention, and early intervention, where 150 patients were able to avail of free Chest X-rays, Spirometry & Peak Flow Measurement, Consultations & Smoking Cessation Advice.

Huge thanks to our consultants (Dr. Aranas, Dr. Uy, Dr. Sarcauga-Chua, Dr. Blanco, Dr. Sugatan-Tan, Dr. R. Abella), residents, PGIs, medical clerks and the barangay healthcare workers for their dedication and to the Pasil community for their warm participation! 🫁
