Sauna Tips for a Better Experience 🧖‍♂️
It's so hot here, di ba? But the relaxation in a sauna is something different. 😌
Do you want to feel the heat deep in your body?
Here are some tips from wellness experts:

1. Clean and DRY is the Secret
First, take a shower before you enter — wash away the dust and sweat from outside.
But on your second round? Don't shower. Wipe your body dry with a towel.

Why?
If your skin is wet, the water becomes a "shield" — it blocks the heat. You only feel it on the surface.
But if you are dry? The heat goes deep into your body. Better detox. Better feeling. ✨

2. Don't Squeeze Your Towel Inside
Use your towel for sitting, wiping sweat, or protecting your hair from the heat. 🙏
Please don't squeeze a wet towel inside the sauna room. We control the humidity using the hot stones.
If the air is too wet, breathing becomes heavy. Dry air is easier to breathe — more relaxing. 💨

Our Story

Ayo Ayo Cafe and Sauna is a guest house and a Japanese Sauna Cafe. Founded in September, 2017, this Spanish inspired old house was renovated to accommodate guests who are looking for a place to stay and chill. The second floor is for guest rooms while the ground floor is rennovated into a Japanese restaurant, cafe and sauna.

“Ayo Ayo” literally came from the bisaya word ayo ayo which means “take care”,see you again’’,wishing you a safe trip’’. The founder is a Japanese guy that started his business in Cebu. Ayo Ayo Cafe and Sauna is definitely a Japanese inspired place with a Filipino touch.

Transitioning to ‘’New Normal’’ we commit to our guest that we establish proper guidelines and procedure following Health protocols from DOT and DOH.

We believe there is no way back, but definitely we are all moving forward.We have these vision as a team,’’ Life is Chill’’ ‘’Life is Food ‘’Life is Sauna’’.We wanted to learn and create a new culture by connecting from diverse group of people in all walks of life.We aim to develop an independent , passionate and creative individuals through our place, our food and our Sauna service.
