Congratulations!🎉🎊 Borbon Nutrition Council! For the successful conduct of Barangay Nutrition Scholars Refresher Course and Basic Training:

Held on August 26–28, 2025 at the Municipality of Borbon, the three-day training aimed to enhance the knowledge and skills of new and current BNSs.

Organized by the Rural Health Unit through the Municipal Nutrition Program Coordinator, Mrs. Marilou S. Autentico, and made possible through the support of Municipal Mayor Nico Dotillos, the training covered essential topics including the planning and packaging of the Barangay Nutrition Action Plan (BNAP) into the Local Development Plan (LDP) and Annual Investment Plan (AIP).

Participants also received updates on the use of anthropometric tools and the importance of annually updating spot maps and problem trees to strengthen local nutrition efforts.

🛡️ Nutrition supports the NiE integration of the DRRM-H for a Resilient Cebu! 🌱

The Nutrition Cluster proudly participated in the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management in Health (DRRM-H) Monitoring, Evaluation, and Mentoring (MEM) 2025 held on August 12–15, 2025 at Alta Cebu Resort and Convention Centre, Cordova, Cebu.

This multi-sectoral event brought together key health clusters — Nutrition, Environmental and Sanitation, and Mental Health — to ensure that DRRM-H plans in the Province of Cebu are responsive, integrated, and life-saving.

Held from July 9–11, 2025, during Nutrition Month, dedicated health workers and stakeholders gathered in Bogo City to enhance their knowledge and skills on Maternal, Infant, and Young Child Nutrition (MIYCN). This training marks a vital step in promoting optimal health and nutrition practices across communities in Cebu.
