In partnership with 𝗗𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗚𝗶𝗿𝗹𝘀 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹, Alpha Mu Sigma Phi successfully conducted its annual Women’s Health Initiative, 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮, on December 12, 2025, in collaboration with 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘂𝗲 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹.✨

The initiative empowered 𝟭𝟬𝟬 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗴𝗶𝗿𝗹𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝟰 𝘁𝗼 𝟲 through meaningful, respectful, and age-appropriate discussions on Women’s Reproductive Health and Menstrual Support.📚👧🏼

Through Project Maria, Alpha Mu Sigma Phi reaffirms its commitment to equipping young women with knowledge, confidence, and self-awareness. Participating students also received reusable menstrual hygiene kits from Days for Girls International, promoting sustainable menstrual health and dignity.

𝗭 𝗠𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗰𝘆: 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗼𝗮𝗱𝘀 𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗹𝗹 🛣️

In line with our celebration of Alpha Mu Sigma Phi’s 66th Anniversary, we commemorate our dear Alphan Sister Dr. Zuriele Arambulo† through The Z Movement. In collaboration with the 𝗖𝗲𝗯𝘂 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲, her legacy lives on through a shared commitment to road safety and pedestrian protection, marked by the installation of a 𝗽𝗲𝗱𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗲 at the 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙. 𝗥𝗮𝗺𝗼𝘀 𝗦𝘁. last November 17, 2025.

The Z Movement was born from the tragic hit-and-run accident that claimed Dr. Zuriele Arambulo’s life in February 2019, a loss that underscored the urgent need for safer streets and stronger advocacy for pedestrian safety. A Doctor to the Barrio, her life of service continues to inspire us to transform remembrance into meaningful action.

Keep an eye out as another improvement along F. Ramos St. is underway, strengthening our resolve to serve with purpose and care.

“𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝘄𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲, 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝘄𝗲 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲, 𝗶𝘁’𝘀 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗮𝘀.” – 𝗗𝗮𝗹𝗲 𝗘𝘃𝗮𝗻𝘀 🎄🎁

Guided by love and generosity, Alpha Mu Sigma Phi continued its annual tradition through the 𝗛𝗲𝗺𝗮-𝗢𝗻𝗰𝗼 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗮𝘀 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘆 held at the 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲 𝗦𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗼 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 – 𝗡𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴, where 𝟭𝟬𝟴 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀 were served on December 11, 2025. Each family received a 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗮𝘀 𝗯𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗹𝗲 🎁 containing a spaghetti pack and a dedicated toy for their Little Warrior, made possible through funds raised during the Little Warriors: Childhood Cancer Awareness Campaign last September.🎗️

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Kathleen Stephanie Wahing (ΑΜΣΦ ‘13) for inviting us once again and for giving us the opportunity to celebrate our Little Warriors, who are true symbols of courage, resilience, and life. Your commitment continues to inspire us to bring hope and light where it is needed most.

With the support of the 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗢𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗮𝗴𝗹𝗲𝘀, 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, and many generous partners, Alpha Mu Sigma Phi had the privilege of serving 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝟵𝟱𝟬 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀, providing 𝟭𝟱𝟭 𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 (𝟯𝟱 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗿𝘆, 𝟮𝟵 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗴𝗶𝘂𝗺), 𝟰𝟬 𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝘀, 𝟮𝟱 𝗫-𝗿𝗮𝘆𝘀, 𝟳𝟴𝟬 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝟭𝟮𝟬 𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 last November 29, 2025, at the CCC Recreation Center in Lutopan, Toledo City. Each encounter reminded us how much compassionate and skilled care can impact lives. 🏥🩻🦷

Beyond care, we encouraged patients to adopt healthy habits and practice preventive health. Our Alphan students delivered a short seminar on Diabetes Self-Monitoring and Care, led by Arvin Christian B. Agajan (AM∑Φ ’24) and Keri Isabel S. Semilla (AM∑Φ ’25), highlighting our advocacy for November, Diabetes Awareness Month.

As medical students, our mission goes beyond hospital walls, it also includes caring for the world we live in. Together with 𝗢𝗖𝗘𝗔𝗡𝗔 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗛𝗨𝗚𝗔𝗠𝗔, we planted 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟲𝟬 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘀 of different species in Calawisan, Lapu-Lapu on November 22. 🌱🌊

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our Alphan Sister, Dr. Maria Monica Salazar (ΑΜΣΦ ’12), for joining us in this nature-driven service mission, and a big shoutout to everyone else who volunteered and made the day extra meaningful.
