During one of our coffee breaks, our intern suddenly asked why daw every Christmas season, lami magka-uyab.

Maybe it all boils down to this—Christmas is a season of hope, peace, joy, and love. It’s when hearts feel softer, connections feel warmer, and even the simplest moments feel more meaningful. AS we can see, the streets and home are brighter, the laughter is louder, and somehow, companionship feels extra comforting this time of year.

As Dr. Anna Kathrina Oaminal-Watin wrote in her article that there is no shame in needing help; in the same way, let us also remember that there is no shame in showing love—and in giving it freely.

AKVO Applied Psychology Center warmly greets you a Merry Christmas and hopes that this season brings renewed hope, healing, and meaningful connections. May the spirit of love, peace, and compassion fill our hearts and homes as we celebrate together.
