𝗨𝗣 𝗣𝗠𝗦𝗖 | 𝗗𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗗𝗥𝗜𝗩𝗘 𝗙𝗨𝗟𝗟 𝗥𝗘𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧

The University of the Philippines Pre-Medical Society Cebu (UPPMSC) raised a total of ₱91,775.51 from the donation drive conducted from October 1–4, 2025. The total expense amounted to ₱91,255.52, which was used by the organization to collectively purchase goods. The remaining balance of ₱519.99 was turned over to the UP Cebu donation drive to be used in purchasing additional relief goods.

The supplies were gathered at the UP Cebu Lahug Campus, among other drop off points of other independent relief operations, where they were repacked. The repacked goods were then distributed to the victims, reaching different areas that required urgent assistance.

This donation drive was made possible through the collective efforts of every helping hand—ignited by the spirit of bayanihan and camaraderie as one Filipino family.

On October 3, 2025, our team extended support to the ongoing relief operations led by UP Cebu and partner organizations. The supplies contributed by our organization were among those distributed to the municipalities of Sogod, Borbon, Tabuelan, San Remigio, Tabogon, Bogo, Medellin, and Daanbantayan—reaching families still in need of urgent assistance.

Repacking and coordination efforts continue at the UP Cebu Lahug Campus, where volunteers are actively preparing additional relief goods for dispatch in the coming days.

We remain deeply grateful to everyone whose generosity made our contribution possible. Your continued support allows us to take part in collective efforts to assist affected communities. 💚

Following everyone’s collective efforts, purchased goods have already reached the northern towns and were received by affected communities.

These goods procured were made possible through the continued support of your generous monetary and in-kind donations that are consolidated along with the other donations gathered at UP Cebu and included in their official relief distribution. At the UP Cebu Lahug Campus, repackaging is ongoing with the help of dedicated volunteers so that relief goods can keep moving to different affected areas.

Alongside this, efforts are also being made to coordinate with independent relief initiatives outside UP Cebu that continue to extend assistance to communities impacted by the earthquake. Support will be shared where possible to respond to their specific needs.

The University of the Philippines community is calling for donations to support those affected by the recent earthquake, particularly in Northern Cebu.

The UP Cebu Administration is currently accepting in-kind donations at the Office of Student Affairs in the Administration Building. Donations may also be dropped off at the Cebu Provincial Capitol, Heritage Park Grounds.

The UP Cebu Educational and Research Foundation, Inc. (UP CERFI) likewise welcomes any form of assistance, whether in cash or kind, for those affected by the earthquake.

Meanwhile, UP Cebu Ugnayan ng Pahinungod and the UP Cebu University Student Council (UPC USC) have called on the UP community to extend bank or GCash donations to help cover the transportation of goods.

A systemwide initiative led by KASAMA sa UP, the alliance of student councils across all UP constituent universities, is likewise mobilizing financial aid for affected communities through the QR codes provided.

Essential items needed include non-perishable food, drinking water, clothing, infant supplies, and hygiene and toiletry products.

The Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center is now facing CRITICALLY LOW BLOOD SUPPLY as trauma patients from the earthquake continue to arrive.
