He has multiple cardiovascular risk factors, including a history of smoking, being overweight, dyslipidemia, diabetes, hypertension, a preference for high-fat and salty foods (such as lechon), and a sedentary lifestyle. HeartLink is a project of the Perpetual Succour Hospital- Cebu Heart Institute designed to connect primary care physicians in the rural areas with cardiovascular specialists in a private hospital in the city. The platform will be staffed 24/7 by Adult Cardiology Fellows-in-Training, who will be supervised by Adult Cardiology Consultants, ensuring high-quality consultations and decision-making support for managing cardiac patients.
