One duty morning. I was assigned as an ICU nurse and my elderly patient suffered from a stroke from GCS 10-11 he deteriorated down to GCS 7-8. His pupils is now dilated and his CT scan completion now shows massive blood clot in the brain. He has a daughter who's now practicing in Australia as an nurse in telemetry unit. Considering his father's age and condition, they decided not to be aggressive with his treatment and opted to Palliative care. So, he was transferred to a regular room, and i continued my care for them throughout my 12 hour shift. At the end of my shift, I asked them if I could offer a prayer for them which they gladly accepted. After my prayer, this nurse daughter was so touched and so emotional because in her 20 years of practicing nursing, she didn't encounter a nurse who prays.... She was amazed that we actually do that here in this hospital.

A day after, we met each other at the pharmacy and i asked his father's well being... She then thanked me of my services and said I inspired her. And that made my day. ☺️

Praising God for Inspiring a Co-Nurse to be God's soldiers in the workplace one day at a time.
