Did you know there are 3 categories of Rabies Exposure?

A dog or cat bite or scratch is classified based on the level of rabies exposure risk.

✅ Category 1 – No Exposure
No wound. Example: touching or feeding an animal.

⚠️ Category 2 – Possible Rabies Exposure
Minor scratches or abrasions on the skin.

❗ Category 3 – High Rabies Risk
Deep bites, bleeding wounds, or injuries in sensitive areas.

No matter the bite category, early medical evaluation and Anti-Rabies treatment are important.
