Humble Beginnings
Efficascent Oil - the product that started it all in 1959. Sparked by the perseverance and passionate work of the Wong brothers: George, Sixto, Sergio, David Sr., and Pio Sr., International Pharmaceuticals
Incorporated (IPI) was born. Effective salesmanship and resilient door-to-door marketing were the two essential ingredients that transpired its inevitable growth and led to the innovation of a diversified product line. IPI Today
Today, IPI is undoubtedly the Philippines’ leading manufacturer and distributor of various pharmaceutical and consumer products. Even with the main office in Cebu City, the nationwide operation is remarkably carried out with admirable efficiency through its network of branches located all over the archipelago. Because of this, we can boast of the product distribution system which we deliver to our consumers. Also located strategically in the key cities of Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, are not just IPI branch offices, but also huge warehouses which are kept filled with new supplies by our fleet of top-of-the-line van distribution units. This is made possible because our dynamic sales force is responsible for the awareness, availability, and marketing of products, making IPI brands the leader among household brands. Aside from its domestic market, IPI boasts of its international partnerships and affiliations which paved the way for global distribution. At present, the company continues to nurture and develop connections with distributors all over the globe such as in the UK and the US. IPI also exports to countries such as Bahrain, Brunei, Cambodia, Hongkong, Japan, Kuwait, Malaysia, Mauritius, Oman, Papua New Guinea, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Trinidad and Tobago, United Arab Emirates, and Vanuatu in the Pacific Islands. But such a height of success could not have been possible if not for the constant innovation of products by the Research and Development division. Sharing Wellness, One Community at a Time 💚

Our visit to Brgy. Tabok, Mandaue City brought another opportunity to extend care to families affected by Typhoon Tino. Together with DYHP RMN Cebu and iFM 93.9, we delivered hygiene kits and wellness essentials to help support the community’s daily needs.

The atmosphere was light and lively as our partners filled the area with music, fun, and energetic performances. The smiles and shared laughter in the crowd were a heartwarming reminder of how connection and compassion can brighten a community.

A day of hope unfolded in Brgy. Paknaan, Mandaue City as IPI, together with DYHP RMN Cebu and iFM 93.9, reached out to hundreds of families affected by Typhoon Tino. Through hygiene kits and wellness essentials, we offered not just supplies, but comfort and care during a challenging time.

Wellness That Reaches Communities 💚

In the wake of Typhoon Tino (Kalmaegi), many communities in Central and Northern Cebu continue to struggle with the aftermath of the unprecedented flash floods that destroyed homes and disrupted lives.

Through IPI Foundation, Inc., we have distributed critical essential items, such as food packs, hygiene kits, beddings, malongs, and clothing, to over 1,400 displaced families in Danao City, Cebu.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to One World Institute and Asia America Initiative, through Ms. Yolanda Stern; Takasago; and Gmall of Cebu for partnering with us in delivering hope to the affected families. This initiative would not be a success without the generous contributions of these trusted partners.

As communities slowly rebuild, we stand with them and our trusted partners; guided by malasakit and united in supporting those impacted by the typhoon.
