📣 𝐔𝐒𝐓𝐏 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐲 [𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟑, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓]

With the issuance of PAGASA’s Yellow Rainfall Warning over Misamis Oriental and Misamis Occidental, and the Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 1 over Misamis Oriental, the USTP Incident Management Team (IMT) convened to discuss possible concerns affecting the safety and welfare of faculty members, personnel, and students in light of Tropical Storm .

After due deliberation and in accordance with the IMT’s mandate, the 𝐘𝐄𝐋𝐋𝐎𝐖 𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐢𝐬 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐛𝐲 𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐞𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟑, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, 𝐚𝐭 𝟐:𝟎𝟎 𝐏𝐌 𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐥 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟓, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓.

Accordingly, the following measures shall be observed:

• Onsite classes and work are suspended and shifted to flexible mode.
• Students, employees, and workers of USTP may still enter the campuses.
• The Yellow Warning applies to all USTP campuses.

USTP faculty and staff are advised to coordinate with their respective heads.

Do you know what to do in case an earthquake strikes in your area?

During an earthquake, perform the DUCK, COVER, and HOLD until the shaking stops, then evacuate to an open area that is safe from hazards. If you are in your vehicle, pull over to the side of the road and stop your car. Keep away from structures that are likely to fall, such as billboards and power lines.
