Global Handwashing Day is October 15. And every year, the day serves as a platform to increase international attention of the significance of hand-washing with soap.

The Covid-19 pandemic presents a stark reminder that hand-washing is one of the easiest ways to forestall the unfold of any virus and make sure higher health effects overall. This year’s Global Handwashing Day with this year’s theme “Unite for Universal Handwashing." No matter your role, you can celebrate Gobal Handwashing Day.

In party of Global Handwashing 2022, the Bohol Chapter celebrates the annual international advocacy day devoted to advocating for handwashing with soap as an easy, effective, and affordable way to forestall illnesses and shop lives. The Bohol Chapter Wash-Unit performed a hand washing lecture and demonstration at Dr. Cecilio Putong National High School, University of Bohol, and Holy Name University as assist in raising consciousness for hand hygiene for all.

Philippine Red Cross Bohol-Chapter celebrates WORLD WATER DAY 2022 with the theme of "GROUNDWATER: MAKING THE INVISIBLE, VISIBLE".

Bohol has been through the catastrophe in water since TY ODETTE badly hit the whole province. Despite the sufferings that we've been through, the Philippine Red Cross makes sure to provide clean and potable water to the most vulnerable. Indeed, hope begins with the Red Cross.
