SYNOPSIS: Localized Thunderstorms affecting Mindanao.

FORECAST:
Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to Localized Thunderstorms. Possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms. Light to moderate winds from Northeast to North with slight to moderate seas (0.8 to 2.1 meters).

CDRRMO SEARCH AND RETRIEVAL OPERATION | POBLACION 1

The City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO), together with the Barangay Officials of Poblacion 1 and the Philippine Coast Guard, conducted a Search and Retrieval Operation following a drowning incident that occurred yesterday, December 7, 2025 at around 1:00 PM, in Poblacion 1, Cotabato City.

The victim was identified as Jerry, 47 years old, a resident of Poblacion 1, Cotabato City.

After continuous joint efforts and coordination, the victim was successfully retrieved at around 4:00 PM today at Mother Barangay Poblacion, Cotabato City.

We extend our deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of Jerry during this difficult time. We also commend all responders and partner agencies for their dedication and swift action.

Let us remain vigilant and prioritize safety, especially near bodies of water.
