LOOK | The Dr. Jose Rizal Memorial Hospital celebrated the 22nd National Buntis Day on March 10, 2026, at the Adolescent Center (Ground Floor) with the theme βTraditional Roots and Innovations in Nurturing Mothers.β This activity also aligns with the National Womenβs Month theme, βLead like the Babaylans, Filipinas!β
The Babaylans, known for their strength, fearlessness, wisdom, and deep connection to the community, symbolize empowered leadership. Inspired by these qualities, the celebration highlighted the importance of promoting safe, healthy, and empowered motherhood for every Filipina.
The activity was spearheaded by the DJRMH OB-Gyne Department in collaboration with the Dental Section, Billing and Claims Section, PHUβHealth Education and Promotion Office, and the GAD Focal Point System.
