The ๐๐ถ๐ฒ๐น๐ฑ ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐น๐๐ต ๐ฆ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฒ๐ ๐๐ป๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ๐บ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐ฆ๐๐๐๐ฒ๐บ (๐๐๐ฆ๐๐ฆ) is the Department of Healthโs (DOH) official statistical system under the System of Designated Statistics. It serves as a vital source of data for generating critical information on health service coverage, population health status, health system capacity, and selected vital health events.
This orientation aimed to guide reporting units and other stakeholders across all levels of the health system on the updated health statistical indicators for CY 2026, including their collection, reporting, management, generation, and dissemination through the FHSIS. The activity supports more responsive and evidence-informed decision-making aligned with the DOHโs Performance Accountability Agreement (PAA) and the Universal Health Care (UHC) Act.

To provide guidelines on the collection, reporting, management, generation, and dissemination of updated health statistical indicators through the FHSIS starting CY 2026.
๐๐ฉ๐๐๐ข๐๐ข๐๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฒ, ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐จ๐ซ๐ข๐๐ง๐ญ๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐ฌ๐จ๐ฎ๐ ๐ก๐ญ ๐ญ๐จ:
A. Outline the governance structure of the designated health statistical system
B. Define the updated health statistical indicators for collection, reporting, management, generation, and dissemination through the FHSIS
C. Detail the updated mechanisms and templates for recording and reporting health statistical indicators
D. Strengthen capacity-building requirements for all personnel involved in the management and implementation of the FHSIS
E. Guide the pilot testing and/or continued monitoring and evaluation (M&E) of the FHSIS across various reporting levels
F. Delineate the roles and responsibilities of offices and units involved in the implementation of the FHSIS
