In support of strengthening FHSIS implementation at the community level, an Orientation on FHSIS and updates on Environmental Sanitation was conducted for Barangay Sanitation Aides (BSAs). The activity aimed to:

1. Orient and capacitate new and retrained BSAs on updated FHSIS statistical indicators.
2. Discuss guidelines, mechanisms, and processes in environmental health and sanitation data collection and management to support evidence-informed decision-making aligned with SDG 2030.
3. Provide updates on current FHSIS reporting requirements.
4. Address issues and concerns related to data recording, consolidation, and timely submission of reports.

A routine water sampling activity was conducted across Purok 2โ€“9 to assess the quality and safety of the communityโ€™s drinking water. Water samples were collected from various deep well sources as well as households connected to PrimeWater, following standard collection and handling protocols for proper laboratory analysis.

A total of 11 households were visited and successfully sampled. This initiative is part of our continuous effort to ensure access to safe, clean, and potable water, prevent waterborne diseases, and strengthen environmental sanitation monitoring within the barangay.
