Some drugstores allegedly take pictures of prescriptions of all patients. This is clear violation of data privacy.

Allegedly many if not all branches also insist that a particular generic meds are prioritized over all other generics and branded drugs. Kailangan this generic med muna and only if walang available ang said generics saka ia-allow bilhin ang preferred brand ng pasyente. This is also in clear violation of the generics act.

The generics act stipulates that the generic name of the drug should be written in the prescriptions. Optional to place the preferred brand. It is the patient’s decision whether to buy a generic form or the recommended brand or any brand for that matter. Kelan pa nangyari na ang drugstore at ang pharmacist ang mag-iinsist na kailangan ito munang generics na ito ang dapat bilhin at pwede lang bumili ng iba kapag walang available na gamot dun sa generics na pinu-push nila?
