Dr. Scott Cuthbert of the Chiropractic Health Center in Dauin, represented Applied Kinesiology at a giant integrative medical conference in Seoul South Korea this week, and 2 Applied Kinesiology scholars were present (one with crutches).

Fascinatingly, many of the speakers who came from the Dental and Korean Medical fields, gave the same message as AK doctors Cuthbert and Yin...that the TMJ is a Neuromuscular Organ that must be considered, in every evaluation, to be integrated with the rest of a patient's body.

Applied Kinesiology is steadily expanding into the rest of the healing arts around the world, and now perhaps growing fastest of all in Asia.

Guzay's Theorem, or the Quadrant Theorem, developed by engineer CM Guzay, posits that the true axis of rotation for mandibular (jaw) movement is located at the odontoid process of the second cervical vertebra (C2), rather than the TMJ condyle. This concept links TMJ function with upper cervical function.

Barral, in a section of his chapter on CN XI, called "A reflection of the soul" states:
