History has been made for pre-hospital care in the Philippines. 🇵🇭

Last November 13 and 15 2025, SPMC Department of Emergency Medicine, in collaboration with CDRRMO- Central 911 together with our esteemed guest, Dr. Enoch Chan has successfully launched the first International Paramedic Registry (IPR) certification exam in the country—marking a major step toward raising competency, confidence, and international alignment for pre-hospital care providers.

The International Paramedic Registry is committed to supporting the Philippines as more Emergency Medical Technicians and Responders choose to elevate their practice through IPR certification.

Here’s to hoping that Philippine Emergency Medical Services will finally get the support and acknowledgement it deserves on a national scale.
